On June 20, 2025, a gala reception in honor of the 20th anniversary of Metropolis was held at the Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena in Moscow. The event was attended by the company's employees and partners who have come a long way, as a result of which, among other things, the appearance of modern Moscow and other cities in our country is being formed. The world saw such objects as the renovated Grand Sports Arena «Luzhniki», Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova, Krasnodar Football Club Stadium, urban cultural space GES-2, multifunctional complex Neva Towers and multifunctional complex iCity, Moscow clinical scientific and practical center named after A.S. Loginov and many others.

Dream with Metropolis

The partner part of the evening was opened by a unique immersive performance «Dream!», which immersed the participants in the world of secret desires and inspiration. The script of the performance was written especially for the guests of Metropolis, allowing them to feel involved in the creation of unique objects, many of which have already become part of the architectural appearance of modern Russia. This reminded the guests of our mission: to bring the boldest ideas to life. We proudly recalled the projects that have become the calling cards of our country. Each object is the result of cooperation and the highest professionalism. At the end of the immersive show, the guests went out onto the field of the Big Sports Arena, where the scale of the structure and the possibility of achieving that very secret dream that everyone was thinking about at that moment are especially vividly felt.

Tour of the roof of the Grand Sports Arena

Some of the Metropolis employees started their evening with a tour of the roof of the Grand Sports Arena «Luzhniki». Professional tour guides told us about the features of the roof and the objects of the sports cluster.

The Sports Complex «Luzhniki» is a very good embodiment of the thesis «We design for people». After all, this sports cluster contains more than 80 objects and structures. And also – these are more than 60 world records and about 10 000 people who play sports every day.

The tour aroused particular interest among the Metropolis employees, and this is no coincidence. More than 100 of our specialists worked on the Grand Sports Arena and, in particular, the roof for 4 years.

An evening with a view of the arena...

The venue was not chosen by chance, the Grand Sports Arena «Luzhniki» became a special space for the guests of honor for this evening, which served as a feeling of pride and involvement in their profession. This is the time when everyone could see with their own eyes the result of their work along with a large number of like-minded people and be inspired to implement even the most complex ideas that excite the mind and haunt the dreamer.

The program of the evening included a buffet, a concert and entertainment parts. Guests were treated to interesting interactive activities, a game zone with table hockey and tennis, an open microphone and the largest karaoke in the country. The hosts of the gala reception were Alexey Kortnev and Kristina Babushkina, the tracks loved by many were performed by the cover band «Bohemia» with the inimitable soloist Valeria Strukova. The headliner of the evening was a duet from the legendary group «Neschastny Sluchai».

The evening ended with a big draw – at the Grand Sports Arena, Alexander Vorozhbitov, CEO of Metropolis company, took out three coveted winners’ numbers:

1. A helicopter flight
2. A fighter jet flight
3. A tour to the cosmodrome «Baikonur» to launch a spaceship.

That day, luck was especially kind to Igor Pomazan, the chief engineer of the project, who won a tour to «Baikonur» to launch a spaceship.

Over 600 projects have been implemented along the way, and each guest has made an invaluable contribution to the development of not only our company, but also the construction industry of Russia. The celebration in honor of the 20th anniversary of Metropolis was attended by employees of the Moscow office and partners, among whom was the company's very first customer - Sergey Leontyev.
