From May 28 to May 31, Designers Club Summit 2019 was held in Istanbul, organized by Schneider Electric.

Representatives of companies from different sectors of the economy were invited to the summit. Delegates from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa and Omsk discussed with interest and knowledge the new rules and prospects for the development of the construction industry, got acquainted with the best practices from Russian companies, did not overlooked the topic of process automation design using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Oleg Baranov, Deputy General Director of the Metropolis company, made a presentation on the specifics of BIM implementation in Metropolis.

Oleg Baranov noted the report of Vladimir Talapov, member of the Expert Council of the All-Russian BIM Competition, BIM expert, on the special role of a technical customer in organizing the entire design process according to new standards. The main problems of design organizations during the transition to BIM technologies were revealed.

As part of the discussion platform, representatives of companies from different sectors of the economy exchanged experience in the field of design according to modern standards using BIM technologies.

Representatives of Schneider Electric paid due attention to EcoStruxure as one of the foundations for the efficient operation of the facility, raised the issue of synergy between the EcoStruxure platform and BIM technologies.

All participants of the summit noted the high level of organization of the business part of the event and took part in both excursion and sports programs with pleasure. Moreover, the networking was held in the format of a sailing master class.
