On the eve of the Builder's Day on August 5, the winners of the competition "Best Implemented Project in Construction", organized by the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, were awarded. The awards were presented by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

For almost 20 years of history, the competition has become a kind of "Oscar" for the investment and construction community in Moscow.

The competition is held in 12 nominations, and the nominations cover a wide range of participants in the construction industry: not only residential or non-residential real estate, but also sports and educational facilities, metro and railway transport facilities, restoration projects of cultural heritage sites and a number of others. Competitors are assessed by the City Competition Commission, which consists of 20 people, including representatives of the departments of the city of Moscow, architects, representatives of industry associations.

Projects are evaluated not only by a professional jury - Muscovites can also make their choice. You can vote on three sites at once: in the Active Citizen project, the StroimProsto mobile application, and at the exhibition of competitive projects.

In 2020, 111 projects participated in the competition from among the objects, the commissioning permit of which was issued from January 1 to December 31, 2019. 38 projects reached the final of the competition.

Competition winners

The special prize "Project of the Year" was awarded to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova (Luzhniki Street, 24, bld. 24).

In the nomination "Best Implemented Project for the Construction of Office Buildings and Business Centers", the city competition committee awarded the victory to the engineering center of Mosgaz (CAD, Mruzovsky lane, 11, bld. 2). And according to the results of an open citywide vote, Iskra Business Park, in which Metropolis also took part, was named the best (CAO, Leningradsky Prospekt, 35, bld. 1).

In the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of apartment buildings in the category of standard housing, the winner by the decision of the city competition committee was the residential complex Mikhailova, 31 (South-Eastern Administrative District, Mikhailov Street, 31a). And according to the results of an open citywide vote – the residential complex "Positive", building 2 (TyNAO, settlement Moskovsky, Kievskoe highway, 23rd kilometer, 14, bld. 2).

The best among the projects for the construction of high-comfort apartment buildings according to the decision of the city competition committee was the residential quarter Symbol (South-Eastern Administrative District, Nevelskoy proezd, 3, bld. 1 and 2; 6, bld. 1–3). And according to the results of an open citywide vote in this nomination, the winner was the residential complex "Spanish Quarters", the first district (TyNAO, Sosenskoye settlement, Velasquez boulevard, 6; 7, bld. 1–6; 9, bld. 1-3; 10).

The winner in the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of sports facilities" by the decision of the city competition committee was the multifunctional swimming center of the Olympic complex "Luzhniki" (CAD, Luzhniki street, 24, bld. 4).

In the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of educational facilities", the city competition commission awarded the victory to the experimental school for 2500 places with quantorium (South Administrative District, Likhachev Avenue, 11). According to the results of an open citywide vote, a children's educational institution for 350 places in the Novye Vatutinki district (TyNAO, Desenovskoye settlement, 3rd Novovatutinskaya street, 9a) got the victory.

In the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of medical and recreational facilities" by the decision of the city competition committee, a child-adult polyclinic for 750 visits per shift (CAO, Leningradsky Prospekt, 18a) was named a winner. And according to the results of an open citywide vote, the best was the Endocrinological National Center of the Ministry of Health of Russia (South-West Administrative District, Dmitry Ulyanov Street, 11).

A special prize in this nomination was awarded to a hospital in the village of Kommunarka (TyNAO, settlement Sosenskoye, village Kommunarka, street Sosensky Stan, 8).

The winner in the nomination "Best Implemented Hotel Construction Project" by the decision of the city competition committee and the results of an open citywide vote was the hotel Movenpick Taganskaya (CAO, Zemlyanoy Val street, 70).

Among the projects for the construction of multifunctional shopping centers and complexes, according to the decision of the city competition commission and the results of an open citywide vote, the shopping and entertainment center "Salaris" was named the best (TyNAO, Moskovsky settlement, Kievskoe highway, 23rd kilometer, 1).

In the nomination "The best implemented project for the restoration and adaptation of cultural heritage sites for modern use" by the decision of the city competition committee, the victory was awarded to the pavilion "Grotto" of the museum-estate "Kuskovo" (VAO, Yunosti street, 2, bld. 11). And according to the results of an open citywide vote – the ensemble of the Miussky tramway depot (CAD, Lesnaya street, 20, bld. 1, 3-6).

A special prize was awarded to the palace of boyar Troekurov (chambers of the 16th – 17th centuries) (CAD, Georgievsky lane, 4–6, bld. 2).

In the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of cultural and educational facilities", the victory by the decision of the city competition committee was awarded to cultural and production facilities of Mosfilm (CJSC, Mosfilmovskaya street, 1a, bld. 1, 2), and based on the results of an open citywide vote – the city square of the Moscow International Business Center "Moscow City" (CAD, Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, premises 16, sections 2, 3, 6). In the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of road network facilities", the victory by the decision of the city competition committee was won by New Karamyshevsky bridge as part of the North-West Expressway (CJSC, Mozhaisky and Ochakovo-Matveevskoye districts). According to the results of an open citywide vote, multi-level transport interchanges at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the Besedinskoye Highway (Southern Administrative District, Brateevo and Zyablikovo districts) were named the best in this nomination.

The winner in the nomination "The best implemented project for the construction of metro and railway transport facilities" by the decision of the city competition commission was the Rudnevo depot (VAO, Kraskovskaya street), and according to the results of an open citywide vote – Sokolnicheskaya line Moscow metro on the section from Salaryev to Kommunarka (TyNAO, Sosenskoe settlement).
