On February 17, the annual meeting of the BIM Leaders Club was held, organized by Autodesk in Russia and the CIS. As a result of the event, the Metropolis company received the status of BIM leader in Russia for the 3rd year in a row.

The BIM Leaders Club is a community of professionals and experts in the field of digital construction and digital modeling technologies. Every year, the club arranges joint events, where participants share the results of the year, the projects, and best practices that help the industry move forward. Companies that have achieved high results in the use of information modeling technology and have a unique experience in using this technology to create complex and unique projects receive the status of a BIM leader from Autodesk.

During the event, Svetlana Parkhomenko, Head of the BIM-technologies department at Metropolis, spoke of the company's projects, highlighted the development of BIM technology in Metropolis, talked about the effects that were achieved through the use of information modeling technology, as well as further plans for using this technology in the future.

As a result, by voting members of the BIM Leaders Club, Metropolis received the status “BIM Leader 2022”.

Evaluation went according to the following criteria: innovativeness; sharing of experience and knowledge; relevance; active work in the BIM club and beyond; participation in events (forums, conferences, educational events, etc.).

Our active position in the present, the successful use of this technology in the creation of complex and unique objects, participation in industry events, as well as cooperation with universities to conduct educational work helped Metropolis once again confirm the status of the BIM leader in Russia.

For more than 10 years, Metropolis specialists have been using information modeling technologies when designing. In 2015, a decision was made to fully switch to BIM technology. Autodesk Revit was chosen as the main platform.

Today, 100% of the company's projects are implemented using BIM technologies.
