The route of the Moscow half marathon passed in one circle along the central embankments of the city: Luzhnetskaya, Frunzenskaya, Prechistenskaya, Kremlin, Kotelnicheskaya and Krasnokholmskaya. The participants enjoyed views of the building of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the building of the National Center for Defense Control of the Russian Federation, the Crimean Bridge, the skyscraper on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Kremlin.
