- Design and construction of healthcare facilities: what are the features of these types of work? How much more complex are they compared to residential buildings and offices?

When designing healthcare facilities, first of all, it is necessary to comply with the standards of accessibility for visitors and sanitary and hygienic requirements. Design solutions directly depend on the type of services that a medical institution plans to provide. In addition to membership in an SRO, a design organization must have highly qualified specialists with experience in working with medical facilities on its staff. Many standards and norms of treatment that were relevant 10-20 years ago are already outdated today. All these changes are enshrined in legislation in regulatory documents. Taking into account international experience, incl. European, the design of medical institutions today is carried out with a modern approach, that is, taking into account the maximum care for patients, employees, visitors. Based on our experience, the average cost of building a health care facility in Moscow, carried out according to an individual project, excluding the cost of technological equipment, ranges from 130 to 160 thousand rubles / m2. At the same time, the cost of technological equipment can make up a significant part of the construction cost and reach up to 60% of the total estimated cost of the object.
