The VolgaMall shopping and entertainment complex of European level was built in the very center of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, and remains the only facility of this level in the region. The building was designed and built in record time.
The two-level building with mezzanine floors is made in the form of a volume smoothly streamlined on three sides. The monotony of a single structure is broken up by the main entrance area and staircases protruding beyond the contours of the first floor. The compositional center of the planning solution was two main pedestrian galleries (malls), connected by transverse pedestrian galleries and double-height atriums with lamppost structures completing them in the roof of the building.
A grocery hypermarket with an area of 6,500 square meters, large chain tenants, more than 90 stores are located on 45,000 square meters of the complex. For visitors there is an entertainment center with a food court hall, a restaurant, a cafe, a 16-lane bowling alley, billiards and a multiplex cinema with 7 halls.
